Been a long time since I've posted!Well it's summertime here in Arizona and that means HOT HOT HOT days. But we love it and as the kiddies
go back to school we really love to see Lucas doing so well with the heat. He used to hate the heat and reflux badly
. We are currently in the process of administering a Homeopathic Remedy called G-Therapy, and
that has made Lucas a different boy! G-Therapy is
a pioneering treatment for a variety of Neurodevelopmental disorders and neurological conditions including cerebral
palsy, mental subnormality, austism, Down's Syndrome, global delays, etc as well as a range of other chronic conditions.
It's been about 3 months now since we started this therapy but the changes are awesome. Lucas
no longer is on any Steroid use. He's also eliminated all of his GERD (Reflux) Which means no more puking!!
He's Eating by spoon now for the first time ever in 6+ years. We are also lowering other meds he's been on since birth
that we don't believe he needs any longer. Lucas is way more cognitively aware now which is so awesome to see.
He's more verbal, more fluid in movements, and has more control in his actions. We just
completed a weeks worth of Anat Baniel Method therapy in California also. This movement therapy helps his brain recognize
ways to improve movement. He came home from this intensive week with a better posture and I will continue to work with
him so that he keeps moving forward. Thanks again for the prayers, donations, and good thoughts
you send us. we need them dearly as we continue this journey. God bless

G-Therapy BeginsWell the day has finally arrived where we start G-Therapy. This is a Homeopathic remedy given internally
which was developed in India for the purpose of helping children with Neuorlogical challenges. We actually started Monday
April 12th and suprisingly Lucas took the therapy like a champ. No gagging, vomiting, or rejection to it. We are
highly encouraged by this since introducing any foods has been an ongoing challenge. We will report over the next several
month as to the results. Thanks again for all of your prayers! Ed and Lisa

Our Trip to Florida for Hyperbaric Oxygen TherapyWell we're finally back! It was a long 5 weeks but the results Lucas got were worth it. We did an intensive
round of 40 Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy treatments. What this means is that we go into a small portable chamber
for an hour with Lucas and the pressure is raised to equal being that of being about 10 feet under water. It's also
like when you fly on a plane and your ears pop from the pressure in the cabin. We also strap on a canula to Lucas' nose
and pump in a hugh dose of pure oxygen. The result is a large amount of Oxygen being pumped through the blood and ultimately
to the brain. The results seen are that the transmitters and receptors in the brain awaken with this dose of Oxygen
and pressure combination. Then the brain can continue to learn from the renewed life into the parts that may have been
inactive or damaged. So we could continue to see improvements for several months after our sessions. It
didn't take long for us to see some changes however. The biggest ones are in Lucas' awareness. He is more responsive
to commands. We tell him once now and he moves or responds. Usually it takes a second for him to think about things
and then he responds. He's moving a bit better and more fluid also. Crawling is a breeze now for him and when
upright his walking seems to be more intentional and with flatter feet. Many times kids with CP "toe" walk
but he seems to not have too much problem with this once he's comfortable being upright. This gives us great hope for
him to walk someday on his own. Currently we practice on a walker or against furniture. Lastly, his vision seems
to be more clear. Focusing on things better and tracking things as they pass by clearly shows us he's using his vision
more and not relying on his other senses. Small changes for now but we hope to see these things continue to improve.
Overall the trip was a success. We also stayed with my mother and saw family while near the treatment facility.
Then we were also able to stay with Lisa's parents for a week and some weekends. Making all grandparents very happy
to spend time with the twins. Caitlin was a very patient 6 yr old with all of this and we are so blessed with her. Now
as we move forward Lucas will start the G-Therapy remedy we received from India. It's a Homeopathic remedy for kids
with Nuerological challenges. We look forward to getting this started. We also will raise funds to rent our own
Hyperbaric Oxygen chamber in the future as we hope to continue that form of therapy. Coming up in May I travel to California
again to continue my training on the Anat Baniel Method for Lucas and together these therapies will help my son be all he
can be :) Thanks for all of your continued support and God Bless! Ed, Lisa, Caitlin, and Lucas

Hyperbaric Oxygen TherapyWell there's been a whirl wind of activity since finishing our marathon effort. We had found out about a great family
in St Petersburg Florida about a week after the marathon who do this very specific form of therapy called Hyperbaric Oxygen
Therapy. This is to help Lucas in many ways from breathing and possibly have more cognitive development. We are
here now in Florida doing a months worth of these treatments and looking forward to great results. Fortunately also
I have family in the area and my mother gave us a place to stay while we do these treatments. It all happened so fast
from the time I spoke with the Administrator there at his facility to the time we were on the way to Florida. I drove
a quick 34 hours while my family flew to Florida and suddenly we are planted in Florida for a month. Please visit www.hyperbariccenter.org
to lean more about this treatement especially if you know someone with Autism as this treatment has been proven time and time
again to assist in people and especially children with Nuerological challenges. We'll be back in AZ after Easter and
we'll report more then :) God bless Ed, Lisa, Lucas, and Caitlin

Personal Marathon a successHello there! Well the personal Marathon was a great success. We raised a few more dollars for our son and I
made it the 26.2 miles I ran for him :) We had over 20 people come and most of them ran anywhere from 1 - 8 miles with
me. I was so very thankful that almost all the miles I ran were with someone else! Thanks so much for the day
it will always be remembered by Lisa and I and of course Lucas! God Bless
